We interviewed, Emilie Cabanie, Head of Influence and Emmanuel Quere, Strategist for Havas Play, some of our incredible winners from the 2024 Festival of Media Global Awards. They shared what it was like to win a Festival of Media award, the impact it had on their team and approach to new business, how they see the media industry evolving, and how their business is adapting to these changes.

How did it feel to win a Festival of Media Award, and what does this recognition mean to you and your team?

Winning a media creativity award as a strategist is always special. It’s unexpected, and beyond rewarding the work already done, it sets new standards and opens up new horizons for the future. It’s also a milestone in the team’s history—a moment that stays engraved in our memory box, the one we open when we need a boost!

What impact has winning a Festival of Media Award had on your company or team, both internally and externally?

Our campaign leveraged an innovative media format and allowed us, for a few months, to be recognized as pioneers and experts.

How do you see the media industry evolving in the next few years, and how are you adapting to these changes?

The fragmentation of media and audiences has led us to adopt an approach we call “robustness”: building a brand through multiple touchpoints, being present in different ways (both in format and messaging) across various communities to establish roots everywhere and strengthen the brand.

Has winning the Festival of Media Award helped you attract new business or strengthen existing client relationships?

Yes, we have used this case extensively as a commercial gateway.
